Your Songs by Harry Connick Jr. - Review & Giveaway

There's something about Harry. No, wait, there are a lot of things about Harry. He can sing, of course. He's also an accomplished pianist, composer, actor in both big screen and stage roles, and hey, he's pretty easy on the eyes! On his new album, Your Songs, Harry Connick Jr. covers classic songs from performers such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Elvis Presley. I'm a fan, so naturally I was thrilled to receive the opportunity to review Your Songs.

You've got to be pretty confident to cover songs made famous by icons like these. With a smooth voice and expert ability to make a song his own, I'd say he had every reason to be confident. The rearrangements breathe new life into memorable tunes. My personal favorite is All The Way. I must admit I have a thing for Elvis and nobody can sing his songs better, but as an homage to some of the great artists of the last century, I loved this album. It's just the thing for those rare quiet moments when you want some soothing music to relax to.
